It’s A Great Time to Be A Dad

Join us Oct. 21 for an afternoon of fun, food and information you can use!

It is indeed a great time to be a dad. Fathers, their children and their families are invited to an afternoon of fun, food, and information to support healthy families. It’s A Great Time to Be A Dad will be held at the Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy at 2026 E. Seymour Ave. in Roselawn on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Hosted by Health Care Access Now (HCAN), It’s A Great Time to Be A Dad will include a great panel of local leaders who will discuss fatherhood and what it means to put your family first, healthy relationships, parenting tips and raising healthy children. Resources will also be available to learn more about health insurance, finding a doctor, community programs that support men in becoming great Dads and job opportunities. A DJ will be on hand, door prizes and gift items from the Cincinnati Reds!

HCAN CEO Judith Warren says, “African American fathers are the best role model for their children and deserve our support. This event is our way to show our appreciation for them that while we share practical information and have a dialogue to help them be Great Dads! And, we want them to have fun on a Sunday afternoon.
