The Day of Hope event is a day dedicated to providing resources and essential items to those most in need in our community. Over the past seven years, our organization has been passionately serving the unhoused and under-housed, and this event is an extension of our commitment. While our primary focus remains on these vulnerable populations, we warmly invite everyone to be a part of this day. Attendees can benefit from complimentary haircuts and wholesome meals, ensuring they leave feeling refreshed and nourished. But the spirit of hope doesn’t end there; we are also hoping to offer free general medical screenings and a comprehensive social determinants of health questionnaire. Our vision is to bridge the gap in healthcare access, and we believe that immediate interventions can pave the way for a healthier future. We are hoping if available that Health Care Access Now can assist in filling this role including what the next steps look like for the individuals screened.
